For people with no time or people who are plain lazy, there are other ways to master the puzzle.
Method 1:
- Before scrambling, note the correct position of the colours on the cube.
- Scramble cube.
- Choose a colour. This will be your top face. Turn your 1x1x1 Rubik's Cube so that the centre cube on the top face is that colour.
- Remove all the stickers except for the one on the top face, so you have only one sticker remaining on your cube. Preferably remove with fingernails or exacto knife.
- Re-attach stickers in the correct positions, as you noted in Step 1. If you didn't do that, too bad. You should have listened when we told you.
Method 2:
- Disassemble your 1x1x1 Rubik's Cube
- Put the disassembled cube pieces in such a manner to form the original cube.
Method 3:
- Detach all stickers of your 1x1x1 Rubik's Cube.
- Colour in the now empty faces with your choice of paint.
(Note that oil paints may take an extended period of time to dry, so if using oil based paints, apply thinly.)
Method 4:
- Run to the store
- Buy a brand new 1x1x1 Rubik's Cube.
- There you have it! A solved 1x1x1 Rubik's Cube!!!
Method 5: Ask a professional to solve it for you.
Method 6: Talk to the cube; try to reach a compromise.
Method 7: The LORD God also enjoys solving the 1x1x1 Rubik's Cube in His spare time, and has developed His own personal solving method (which was independently rediscovered by mathematicians in 1995). If you successfully master this technique, you, too, can legitimately claim that you are just as good as God at (at least) one thing!
Method 8: Grab a pick-ax, a hammer, some super glue, and think of a good excuse (preferably if you are fixing a friend's cube).
